Day 101: A Shed!

It is finally here! It arrived on a truck but was slowly driven down our narrow driveway and through a little space in the trees to its final home by a little thing with impressive horsepower that looked like a combination between a forklift and a Segway.

There is so much room in our beautiful shed! Taiya and William welcomed its arrival by roller skating and bicycling inside it. Daisy hid while it was being delivered, but gave it a good sniff after the stranger on the noisy machine left.

We are excited to have plenty of space to store and take care of all our building and gardening tools, our camping gear, our winter clothes bins, our extra food supplies. It's going to be so nice to think to oneself, "I need the digging fork. I think I'll go get it from the shed now," instead of, "I wonder where the digging fork is? Where was the last place it was used? I better start looking for it there," because that's kind of how Jeremy and I organize our things now if I'm going to be honest.

So, our next steps are, build some shelves, put in some wiring for plugs and a light or two, move the pressure tank and all the associated plumbing into the shed, and start organizing! Yeehaw!
