Day Seventy-Four: The Weirdest Dinner Yet

This dinner was born of lack of motivation and random leftover ingredients. I call this recipe Salsa Dogs.

Ingredients:

Hot dogs, cut into rounds
1/2 can leftover black beans
Leftover baked sweet potato, cut into chunks
1/2 a leftover bell pepper, sliced
Crumbs from last of a bag of tortilla chips
Salsa
Cheese

Heat everything that needs to be heated, cut up hot dogs, mix it all together on your plate, eat. It was not amazing, but it was better than you would think. It did the trick. I did not take a photo, because I did not want to force that image on the world. Instead, I will share this picture of William enjoying his tiny pond.

I'm admitting to this dinner because I don't want to put forward an unrealistic picture of what life has been like. Sometimes I make chicken and dumplings with local ingredients lovingly prepared from scratch. And sometimes I throw hot dogs and leftovers on a plate and call it good.
