Day Ninety-Nine: Creek Time
Today is the last day of double-digits before we turn over into the hundreds of days at home. Day 100! Tomorrow! Yikes.
I got my work done in fits and spurts today, broken up by a trip to the creek with William and a trip to the pool with everyone. I picked more mimosa flowers to dry. Right now I have mint, oregano, sage, and mimosa drying in bunches and on trays around the kitchen. It's starting to smell pretty herbal in here!
I made pork burgers with barbecue sauce and coleslaw for dinner. It's a southern thing, I learned when I moved here, to pile coleslaw in the barbecue sandwich, and I recommend it to everyone, no matter what the sandwich. It gives it such a nice crunch.
For the next three days I'll be in an online conference for much of the day. I've never done an online conference before. I'm curious how it will work. I've been working in such a little silo for, well, 99 days now, so I'm feeling a little nervous about having to talk to people again, but I am hoping everyone will be understanding if I say something weird.
I think these photographs sum up the best part of the day better than my words could, so I'm going to stop here:
