Day 169: Kelsie

My heart hurts so much today. My friend Megan let me know that her sister Kelsie, who has been fighting colon cancer with all her might for three hard years, passed away this morning. Kelsie was a beautiful, funny, kind, loving soul. I took this picture of her at Megan's wedding five years ago, holding her baby, Anna, who is the same age as William. Kelsie will be missed by so many. She taught me so much about living well, fully, and honestly, in the moment, and for this I will be forever grateful.
